BHS Say Yes to the Dress Helps Students Find Prom Attire
The annual BHS Say Yes to the Dress event helped Brighton High School students find free prom attire in February. Over 120 dresses and suits went home with students along with many accessories (shoes, purses, ties, socks, and jewelry). There was no charge for any of the available items.
Brighton High School and Brighton Your Wardrobe collaborated on the event. Prom attire came from Brighton Your Wardrobe’s community donation drive. Volunteers helped students make selections. If alterations were needed, four volunteer seamstresses were on site to make the necessary adjustments and had them ready for the students by the end of the school day. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a great success. We look forward to next year's event and will continue to accept prom clothing donations in the lobby of Central Office.
