Transportation to and from BHS will remain as it currently is, including the late bus runs. This will be in place until the last day of school for TCMS on 6/24. Please plan accordingly. EMCC busing will run as normal until their last day, 6/25.
-
ALL students will meet in the cafeteria before their exams. PLEASE DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO YOUR TESTING ROOM UNLESS YOU ARRIVE LATE OR HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO SO. We will announce when students may exit the cafeteria and head to the testing location. This does include the 2 exams while school is in session (June 9th and 10th).
-
Start times: Morning exams start at 8 AM Sharp, and afternoon exams start at Noon. Please plan to arrive at BHS 20-30 minutes before your exam.
-
If a student arrives late, they may take the exam up to 2 hours after the start of the exam. Students will not be allowed to test after those 2 hours.
-
Students MUST stay for 2 out of the 3 hours per NYS. Please plan accordingly.
-
Cellphones and other electronic/smart devices are NOT permitted during exams. Bags and cellphones or other smart devices must be away from desks and turned off. Please follow the directions of the proctors regarding this policy and NYS exam rules. Students caught with a cellphone, smartwatch, smart glasses, or other electronic devices that violate the rules will be dismissed from the exam, and they will need to retake the exam next year.
-
Dismissal: Students MUST sign the proclamation AND the exam envelope before they can leave the testing room. While this may hold up your departure, it is a NYS requirement as this verifies that you were the one who took the exam and that you understood the test-taking rules and regulations. Students are NOT PERMITTED TO HANG OUT IN THE BUILING AFTER THE EXAM unless they have another exam that day. In this case, students should go to the cafeteria. The other parts of the building remain off limits, other than the library for quiet studying.
-
Starting June 17th, students are not permitted to be in any other parts of the building unsupervised. This includes but is not limited to hallways and stairwells. Students may utilize the library for quiet studying only. If a student is waiting to take an exam, they must wait in the cafeteria. If a student has completed their exams and has no other exams that day, they must exit the building. We will have security walking the halls to ensure this is being enforced.
-
Exam Conflict. If you are aware of a legitimate testing conflict that prohibits you from taking an exam, please speak with your teacher(s) about this, and we will let you know individually what the next steps would be. Please note that we cannot change Regents exam dates as these are uniform administration dates. The sooner we know, the better we can assist.
