Teaching Interns
World Language Teaching Interns
The World Language Teaching Interns program was started in 1985. For 40 years, this prestigious program has given students the opportunity to enhance their learning experience through direct contact with student teachers from other countries. The World Language Teaching Interns lie at the heart of our program and curriculum. Teaching Interns make cultural presentations, present and comment on current events, and work individually with students. They intertwine our curriculum. Teaching Interns provide a real-life connection to other countries, giving Brighton students an enhanced global awareness. Brighton is proud to be the only district in Monroe County with a Foreign Language Intern program.
