BHS Presents “The Crucible”

Brighton High School is presenting “The Crucible” at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 in the BHS Auditorium, 1150 S. Winton Road. Tickets are $5 and are available online or at the door with cash or check only. “The Crucible” is a play by Arthur Miller that follows a group of girls, led by Abigail Williams, who falsely accuse villagers of witchcraft after being caught practicing forbidden rituals. The hysteria leads to numerous arrests and executions, and the play centers on John Proctor's attempts to expose the girls' lies, his own moral struggle, and his ultimate tragic sacrifice.

The cast includes: Evan Benzvi as Reverend Samuel Parris; Aralina Yarborough as Betty Parris; Elisa Luz Crespo as Tituba; Taylor Howe as Abigail Williams; Kenzie Thompson as Susanna Walcott; Elanna Marks as Ann Putnam; Michelle Arnold as Thomas Putnam; Marie Mikols as Mercy Lewis; Denise Snyder Smith as Mary Warren; Henry Ager as John Proctor; Marie Mikols as Rebecca Nurse; Ella Lorenzen as Giles Corey; Clem Beach as Reverend John Hale; Sophie Pincus as Elizabeth Proctor; Caitlyn Varley as Francis Nurse; Hannah Meltzer as Ezekiel Cheever; Colby Rinella as John Willard; Eliza Proctor as Judge Hathorne; Maisy Francey as Deputy-Governor Danforth; Marie Mikols as Sarah Good; and Michelle Arnold as Martha Corey.

The Director is Colleen Parent and the Assistant Director is Hudson Sloan.
