Food Resources for Families
Dear Members of the Brighton School Community,
With federal SNAP benefits at risk and the ongoing government shutdown disrupting assistance programs, our District recognizes that this may have a significant impact on members of our community. Knowing this, we wanted to make sure our community is aware of and has access to the resources of our partners at the Brighton Food Cupboard.
If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, please reach out to the Brighton Food Cupboard for support at 271-5355. Help is available based on current supplies and availability.
Food banks across the country are stretched to their limits — and local pantries like the Brighton Food Cupboard are being called on to fill the gaps. You can help by bringing food directly to the Brighton Food Cupboard (2131 Elmwood Ave., Door A, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – noon) or ordering from their Amazon Wishlist. For more information on the Brighton Food Cupboard, visit their website.
