DECA Club Competes at Regionals

The Brighton High School DECA Club competed at the Regional competition at the Rochester Institute of Technology in December. The club brought 88 students to compete against over 900 students from throughout the area. Brighton students competed individually and on teams in over 20 events. 

There were seven event finalists from Brighton: Aakash Kelkar and Tikhon Shapovalov in Entrepreneurship Team; Aditya Shaligram in Entrepreneurship Solo; Ari Spokony and Rafi Zaretsky in Financial Services Team; Elias Gray and Finn McIntyre in Business Law Team; Jack Harrington and Trevor Servé in Buying and Merchandising Team; Jonah Harrington in Principles of Marketing Solo; and Mira Grossfield and Sydney Wolff in Hospitality Team.
