BHS Students Attend Roc2Change Summit

Members of Brighton High School’s Black Student Union attended the ROC2Change Summit in November at Monroe 2 - Orleans BOCES in Spencerport. The event was co-hosted by Edison Career and Technology High School, World of Inquiry, and Penfield High School. Students from more than 30 schools throughout the Greater Rochester area came together to discuss race and racism, how to make their voices heard, and how to move their communities forward on the road to change.

The BHS students in attendance were: Haile Atkins, Christian Abraham, Samuela Botwey, Phoenix Crosland, Taye Dover, Vibhita Kaur, Camryn Oliver, and Marta Ross.

Brighton High School will be co-hosting the March 2025 summit with LeRoy High School and School Without Walls.
