Several Brighton High School students participated in the RIT START HERE art exhibition. The show featured student work selected by high school and middle school teachers in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. Awards were presented at the opening reception. Charlotte Marrinan received the School of Art Medical Illustration Award—3D; Jada Phelps received the School of Art Robert Heischman Award; and Ethan Fine received the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences Visual Media Award.

Art teacher Mrs. Maley selected Phelps and Norah Collins for the exhibition, Ms. Jezsu selected Marrinan and Sarah Singh, Mrs. Pickering selected Fine and Kiohri Briggs, and Miss Jamison selected Colette George and Jake Graham-Schwebel.
