Brighton High School vocal music teacher Sarah Staebell was honored at the PTSA Life Membership Ceremony on May 7. Individuals receiving Honorary Life Membership are recognized for their outstanding service and commitment to the welfare of our children. Honorary Life Membership in the New York PTA is one of the highest honors that one can receive from the organization.

The PTSA also introduced its officers for the 2025-26 school year. They officially assume their positions on July 1. They are President Stephanie Bush, President-Elect Johnita Anthony, Secretary Jamie Smith, and Treasurer Melissa Staloff.
